Laurel Flannery: owner/designer

Laurel Flannery

Laurel dabbled in floral fancying and party planning for as long as she can remember. After doing flowers and decor for 12 friends’ weddings in a little over a year’s time, she decided, with the support of her friends and family, to turn her passion into a business. Bloom began out of Flannery’s home in 2009 and branched out to its large studio space in 2013.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was greater than the risk it took to bloom” [Anais Nin]

Laurel feels compelled to admit her addiction to thrifting. She brakes for rummages, estate sales, flea markets and granny thrift stores. Lucky for Bloom clients that she shares her treasures found!

“This is my dream job. I still get excited with ideas at every consultation and get butterflies when I present the bride with her bouquet. Nothing beats that moment.”
